On May 7, Geely Galaxy dazzled automotive enthusiasts with the official images of its groundbreaking all-electric SUV, the E5. Set to pioneer the electric segment within the Galaxy series, the E5 promises a revolution in eco-friendly mobility. With an anticipated price tag ranging between RMB 150,000-200,000 (USD 20,800-27,700), the E5 is slated for an official launch in the second quarter of this year.

The Geely Galaxy E5 stands on the shoulders of innovation, boasting the Geely Electric Architecture (GEA), an evolution of the Sustainable Energy Architecture (SEA). GEA encompasses a spectrum of powertrains including EV, EREV, PHEV, and green methanol, making it a versatile platform. Power and Performance
While official powertrain specifics remain under wraps, Geely tantalizes with mentions of an 11-in-1 smart electric drive and a Shendun battery, propelling the E5 to an astounding potential range of 2000 km. Earlier disclosures at China MIIT hinted at a single-motor variant with 160 kW of power, powered by a lithium iron phosphate battery, capable of reaching a maximum speed of 175 km/h.
