Samsung Unveils Revolutionary Air-to-Water Heat Pump Lineup for North America at CES 2025

Samsung Electronics is set to make waves at CES 2025, debuting its first Air-to-Water Heat Pump lineup for North American households. Already successful in Europe, this innovative solution promises to deliver powerful, efficient, and eco-friendly heating technology tailored to the specific needs of the North American market.

Pioneering Heating Technology
The Air-to-Water Heat Pump lineup introduces two indoor units — the Slim Fit EHS ClimateHub Mono and the Hydro Unit Mono. The ClimateHub Mono includes an integrated water tank, while the Hydro Unit Mono is a wall-mounted unit designed for flexibility in various spaces. Paired with the EHS Mono R32 HT Quiet outdoor unit, this system is engineered for quiet operation, producing noise levels as low as 35dB(A), and features the eco-friendly R32 refrigerant for reduced environmental impact.

Innovative Features for Modern Homes
Each indoor unit is equipped with a 7-inch AI Home display, offering intuitive control over temperature, energy consumption, and connected appliances through SmartThings integration. Users can monitor their solar photovoltaic (PV) system’s energy output and manage heating zones, making it a complete energy-efficient solution.

With a compact depth of just 350mm, the units are perfect for multi-unit dwellings and apartments, providing versatile installation options without compromising performance. Magnetic filters, three-way valves, and expansion vessels come standard, simplifying setup and maintenance.

Designed for Extreme Efficiency and Resilience
The outdoor EHS Mono R32 HT Quiet unit has been meticulously engineered to perform in temperatures as low as -30°C. Utilizing an advanced Scroll Compressor and Flash Injection Technology, it delivers 100% heating performance even in harsh conditions. Additionally, the unit consistently supplies hot water at up to 70°C, ensuring comfort and reliability.

Energy Savings with AI Integration
When connected to SmartThings Energy, the system’s AI Energy Mode can reduce energy consumption by up to 17%, making it an ideal choice for eco-conscious homeowners.

Samsung’s entry into the North American market with its Air-to-Water Heat Pump lineup underscores its commitment to sustainable and innovative solutions for modern households.
